Jervis Bay Escape | Private Mercedes Tour
Dolphin Watching & Coastal Villages
Coastal Views and Kiama Blowhole
We depart Sydney and head south, stopping first at Bulli Tops for morning refreshments and panoramic views over the Illawarra coastline.
Continuing our journey, we arrive in the seaside town of Kiama to witness the power of nature at the famous Kiama Blowhole. Formed from ancient basalt lava flows, this natural spectacle can shoot water 30 meters into the air—a thunderous display that is the largest of its kind in the world.
Dolphin Watching In Jervis Bay
We arrive in Huskisson, the sparkling jewel of Jervis Bay. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the marina (cafe or restaurant of your choice) before boarding your Dolphin Watch Cruise.
You can choose your vessel style—from spacious catamarans with ample viewing decks to smaller, more intimate boats. Keep your camera ready for the resident bottlenose dolphins that call these waters home.
Seasonal Bonus: From May to November, you may also witness majestic Humpback Whales resting in the bay during their annual migration.
Cruise Information
Please Note: The Dolphin Watch Cruise is a ticketed attraction run by a third-party operator. • We will discuss the best cruise time and vessel for you upon booking. • Tickets are purchased separately (approx. $50-$90 pp) depending on cruise option chosen.

Reviews
Excellent day touring the blue mountains. We saw the 3 sisters. Had many photos. Had a cider tasting stopped for little apple pies and saw spectacular views. David was fantastic and taught us a lot including the Australian slang. He had tremendous enthusiasm and worked around Road closures and our very specific goals to accomplish a great tour. Would definitely recommend going with David. Research ahead of time to see what interests you He even took us through feather dale personally. to see the kangaroos the wombats and even a crocodile Comfortable van also

It was my brother who found Dave's website. We wanted a flexible Blue Mountain tour that can accommodate us instantly as we don't have enough time left in Sydney. Luckily Dave answered our inquiry right away. Private flexi tour went well, he arrived on time in our hotel, friendly guy and instantly he started giving us trivia about the places we wanted to see, he also suggested some places to maximize our day and see as many as we can.

Hello David, a big thanks to you for your punctuality, your time spent with us as well your presence and generosity. Your trip been really well organized. We were pleasantly surprised about all your explanations about the blue mountains and wildlife in Australia, we had a great day, amazed and full of discoveries, surprises and memories out of too crowded tourists places. Hope to see you again for some great new adventures

My family and I, did the private tour with David. We found it very entertaining, enjoyable and informative. David’s local knowledge of the area was invaluable and helped us beat the crowds along with seeing the best vantage points of the blue mountains. David was very pleasant to spend the day with. We highly recommend this private tour.

Having had to wait nearly 3 years (Covid!) to visit Sydney, this tour with David was well worth the wait. He took us to hidden away gems to see amazing sights with very little in the way of crowds. The tour is very flexible and was planned totally around what we wanted to get out of the day. We would highly recommend Escape Scenes and felt it was very good value for money.

We only had a day in Sydney and decided to book this private tour to the Blue Mountains. We are so glad that we did! David, our tour guide and owner of Escape Scenes was fantastic. He is super flexible depending upon what you want to see and what is important. He adjusts the itinerary to meet your goals. We were able to see everything that was important to us without the headache of a large tour group. We would highly recommend this tour!
