What To Expect
This is a typical itinerary for this tour:
Our emphasis is to escape the crowds, taking you to places to experience the authenticity of the region without the tourist traps. We save a few hidden gems only for our guests not advertised online.
Stop At: Blue Mountains National Park Glenbrook, Glenbrook, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
Our first stop ventures deep into the native bushland of the Lower Blue Mountains for wildlife spotting. This is a wonderful introduction to the tour where you can get up close and personal with wildlife in their natural habitat. If you’re lucky enough we will spot kangaroos.
Stop At: Wentworth Falls, Katoomba, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
We take in views of Wentworth Falls and have the option of a walk across the falls to take in spectacular scenery with sheer drops along rocky cliff edges. How far we go is up to you.
Stop At: Leura Mall, Leura, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
Here we take a lunch stop at a cafe of your choice while trying to avoid the large groups, we aim for a low-key atmosphere where you can enjoy your own lunch at leisure and are free to meander through the quaint village.
Stop At: Echo Point Lookout, Katoomba, Blue Mountains, New South Wales
Take a scenic bushwalk taking in views of Katoomba Falls at various vantage points. Thereafter head to Echo Point as we consider this stop as a highlight of the day and time it so the Three Sisters are displayed at their best, in the afternoon light from the west. Although hard to avoid groups at this stop, we find the best time to visit is mid-afternoon when the bulk of passengers have moved on; we save the best for last.
