We confirm your booking and pickup details. For extended trips we send a clear quote that states whether it's priced one way or return, and what's covered.
3. Enjoy the day
Your driver meets you at the pickup point, looks after the luggage and takes you through the day at your pace, with stops added or changed as you go.

Full day hire covers Sydney metro, from the CBD and Eastern Suburbs to the Inner West, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Parramatta, Western Sydney and the Sutherland Shire. Days run for eight, ten or twelve hours.

A note on tolls
Sydney has a lot of toll roads, so we keep this simple. Everyday tolls on a normal day are covered. If your plan relies heavily on toll roads, such as repeated harbour crossings or long motorway runs, we'll tell you before you book and pass the extra tolls on at cost.
How private driver hire is priced
Full day hire within Sydney metro starts from $880 including GST for eight hours, with ten hours at $1,100 and twelve hours at $1,320, both including GST. That covers the vehicle, driver, fuel and everyday tolls. Time beyond your booked hours on the day is charged at $110 per hour including GST, subject to availability. Anything longer than twelve hours, and every extended trip, is quoted individually, based on distance, time away and any overnight costs. A one-way trip is priced differently from a return trip, because the drive back without passengers has to be covered, so tell us which you need and we can quote both.

The same driver and vehicle can take you well beyond the city. Every extended trip is quoted individually, and you can add stops along the way.
Private driver to the Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is around two hours from Sydney, which makes for a long day of tastings and lunch. With a private driver, the whole group can enjoy it, and you choose the cellar doors, the lunch spot and the time you head home. Day trips run from your Sydney pickup and back again. There are no surprise charges on the day, because the toll position is agreed up front.
How many people can travel, and how much luggage fits?
The vehicle seats up to seven guests, but five is the comfortable number on a long day or when you're carrying luggage. If your bags are large, we recommend fewer passengers. Tell us your group size and luggage when you book and we'll confirm it suits before your booking is finalised.
Can I add stops or change the plan on the day?
Yes. Full day hire is as directed, so you can add stops, change the order or skip something and move on, as long as it fits within your booked hours and the Sydney metro area. If a change would push the day past your booked time, we'll tell you the cost of extra hours before agreeing.
Do you drive outside Sydney?
Yes. We take extended trips well beyond Sydney, including the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Newcastle, the Southern Highlands, the Snowy Mountains, Coffs Harbour and interstate by arrangement. Each trip is quoted individually, and one-way and return journeys are priced separately, so send your destination, dates and number of guests.
What is the difference between a private charter and a transfer?
A transfer takes you from one place to another at a set price. A charter keeps the driver and vehicle with you for the whole booked day, so you can make multiple stops, leave bags in the vehicle and head back the way you choose. If you only need a single trip, a private transfer is usually the better fit.
