Sydney to Canberra
Canberra is about 285 km from Sydney, a drive of roughly three hours. The Hume Highway route passes through the Southern Highlands, where Berrima and Bowral make easy stops. We take guests to meetings, events and family visits in both directions, and to the parliamentary and national institutions around the capital.
Sydney to Orange
Orange is about 255 km from Sydney, roughly three and a half hours over the Blue Mountains, with Katoomba and Lithgow along the way. The region is known for cool-climate cellar doors and produce. Bathurst sits on the same road, about 200 km out, and can be quoted on request.
Sydney to Batemans Bay
Batemans Bay is about 280 km from Sydney, roughly three and a half to four hours down the Princes Highway, where Kiama and Berry make natural stops. It suits holidays, weddings and visits to family on the South Coast.
Sydney to Port Macquarie
Port Macquarie is about 385 km from Sydney, a drive of just over four hours up the Pacific Highway. Stops on the Central Coast, at Newcastle or at Forster break up the trip. Guests travel to and from the Mid North Coast for flights, family events and holidays.
Sydney to Dubbo
Dubbo is about 395 km from Sydney, a drive of about five hours across the Blue Mountains and the Central West. Bathurst and Orange are natural stops on the way. Guests travel to and from Dubbo for business, flights and family visits.

Long-distance private transfer FAQs
What is the minimum distance for a private transfer?
We take transfers of around 250 km or more, such as Canberra, Orange, Batemans Bay, Port Macquarie and Dubbo to and from Sydney. Shorter local runs are outside what we offer. If your journey is a little under 250 km, send us the details and we will confirm whether we can take it on and how it would be quoted.
How long does a long-distance transfer take?
Most of our transfers take between three and five hours, depending on the destination, traffic near Sydney and any stops. Canberra takes about three hours, Orange and Batemans Bay around three and a half to four, Port Macquarie just over four and Dubbo about five. We confirm realistic timing for your route and travel day when we send your quote.
How much does a long-distance private transfer cost?
Each journey is quoted individually, based on your route, passenger numbers, travel date and whether you need a one-way or return trip. The quote covers the vehicle and driver for the whole journey. Send your route and dates through the enquiry form and we will reply with a written quote.
Can we stop along the way?
Yes, stops are built into the planning. Popular choices include a coffee stop in the Southern Highlands on the way to Canberra, lunch in Kiama or Berry on the way to Batemans Bay, or a break in Newcastle or Forster on the way to Port Macquarie. Tell us what you would like and we will plan the timing around it.
Where can you take us?
We take transfers to and from Sydney across NSW and the ACT, and by arrangement into Victoria and Queensland. Journeys of around 250 km or more are welcome, including Canberra, Orange, Batemans Bay, Port Macquarie and Dubbo. If your destination is not listed on this page, send us the details and we will confirm what the journey involves.
Can I book a one-way transfer?
Yes. One-way and return journeys are both available and are priced separately, because a one-way trip includes the vehicle's return journey. If you are travelling in both directions, tell us your dates in the enquiry and we will quote both options so you can compare them.
Can you take us to Sydney Airport or a cruise terminal from out of town?
Yes. We collect door to door from your home, hotel or office in regional NSW or the ACT and take you to Sydney Airport or a Sydney cruise terminal, timed to your check-in or boarding. We work back from your departure time so you arrive with margin to spare. The same transfer runs in reverse when you return.
How many passengers and how much luggage can you take?
We carry up to seven passengers in a premium private vehicle with minimal luggage, although groups of up to five are the most comfortable on a journey of three hours or more with luggage. Tell us how many people and bags are travelling and we will confirm if the vehicle is suitable with seating before you book.
